I came across the following site today:
proxydemocracy.org [proxydemocracy.org]
Essentially the helps individual investors better understand proxy voting.
Most individual investors don't have the time or money to learn about all the proposals at the companies they own stocks in, so I think this site is a good idea and a step forward.
"ProxyDemocracy helps individual shareowners see how to vote their shares in ways consistent with their goals, and which mutual funds and pension funds vote in ways consistent with the goals of the individuals who invest through them"
"The ProxyDemocracy.org website's new Focus List capability lets you compare funds' voting records on any chosen proxy issue (environmental, social, governance, etc.). You can then choose to receive (by email before the voting deadline) future voting decisions of funds you respect, and use that as a guide to voting your own shares."
Mark Latham, founder of VoterMedia.org

"Out beyond the ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing there is a field, I'll meet you there."
The Illuminated Rumi, p98
If you wish to meet me in the field of non judgement we will both need to strip off!
Strip off the ego; the stronger our desire to change, the more elusive our power to do so becomes. Try making decisions not based on our ego's, and experience the change.
Do you wish to be a passive observer or a powerful creator?

Hope for the future; a plausible way of switching to 'clean' energy in sufficient capacity to alter (for the better) global temperature rise and retire the supertankers.

I dwell in Possibility
A fairer House than Prose
More numerous of Windows
Superior--for Doors
Of Chambers as the Cedars
Impregnable of Eye
And for an Everlasting Roof
The Gambrels of the Sky
Of Visitors--the fairest
For Occupation--This
The spreading wide my narrow Hands
To gather Paradise
- Emily Dickinson, ""I dwell in possibility""
